Leading Gold Coast developer Bastion Development Group has reached new heights, having now installed the tower crane at its $172million Nera Residences on Chevron Island.
The installation of the crane arrives hot on the heels of Bastion’s sales success, having smashed the Chevron Island price record for an off-the-plan sale with the staggering $11.5 Million sale of Nera’s penthouse, reflecting the strength of the Gold Coast luxury market.
“It’s fantastic to see the crane go up at Nera; it’s a remarkable milestone for our team,” said Alex Wood, CEO of BastionDevelopment Group.
“We have now completed the basement, and Nera is officially coming off the ground.”
“As we progress construction in-house by Bastion Built, we are excited to deliver these extraordinary living experiences to discerning buyers.”
Located at 8-10 Parneno Street, Nera will rise 30 levels into the Gold Coast skyline, offering 86 boutique apartments, with 70% of the apartments already snapped up.
Bastion has collaborated with architectural firmPlus Studio to shape Nera’s unique character, creating a modern urban haven.
Nera is poised to become one of the most design-focused residential addresses onChevron Island, featuring a rooftop-level wellness retreat and an infinity pool with panoramic ocean views. To promote a healthy lifestyle, Nera will feature a state-of-the-art fitness centre designed by EMF, as well as a luxury spa and ice bath, promoting health and relaxation.
Grounding Nera’s identity is a private garden designed by celebrity-landscaper Jamie Durie, offering residents a peaceful green sanctuary – a rare feature in modern multi-residential design.
“Each amenity at Nera has been designed to offer an unparalleled lifestyle on ChevronIsland,” said Mr Wood.
“We have partnered with some of the best experts in the world and brought them to the Gold Coast to launch products that haven’t yet been incorporated into buildings in Australia.”
Construction at Nera is progressing strongly under Bastion’s in-house team, Bastion Built, ensuring the project is delivered on time and to the premium standard the company is renowned for, with completion expected in 2027, promising a landmark addition to the Gold Coast skyline.
