Tim Mitchell brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across construction, property and energy to his role as Chairman of Bastion. A Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), Tim has held senior positions within both client-side and contractor organisations, supporting major projects across Asia, the Middle East, the US, Europe and Australia. He offers strong governance expertise, sharp commercial acumen and a proven ability to navigate complex regulatory and cultural landscapes – guiding Bastion with clarity and strategic vision.

Alex Wood brings over 20 years of global experience across construction, mining and engineering to lead Bastion’s growth. A qualified Quantity Surveyor with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Alex has led high-profile projects including cost management, forecasting and risk assessment for the $4.5 billion Emirates Airline terminal in Dubai. Beyond construction, he has a proven track record in strategic business leadership, having brokered a $120 million sale of Palm Island land and founded and led an engineering company to a public listing in the energy sector. Alex’s career reflects a rare combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen and transformational leadership.

Luke is a dynamic finance, operations, and Strategic leader with over 15 years’ experience spanning Industrial Services, Oil & Gas, Mining and investment. As CFO of Bastion Group, he brings a sharp commercial mindset and deep expertise in capital structuring, funding, and strategy, helping drive Bastion’s growth as one of Queensland’s leading integrated property businesses. Before joining Bastion, Luke held senior executive roles across ASX-listed and private companies, leading IPOs, equity raises, and large-scale development projects. He’s passionate about creating lasting value for investors, building high-performing teams, and delivering projects that strengthen the communities Bastion serves.

Phillipa, Executive Director at Bastion, leverages her international expertise in luxury property, branding, and development to lead strategy, partnerships, and brand positioning. With a background in psychotherapy, she fosters a culture of trust, clarity, and shared purpose while shaping high-end residential and hospitality projects globally.

Katerina, a Senior Design Manager, excels in leading high-end, large-scale commercial projects from luxury integrated resorts and hospitality to airports and mixed-use developments. With a strategic design vision and a portfolio of award-winning projects like Queens Wharf Brisbane and The Darling Hotel, she brings a thoughtful, design-led approach to shaping enduring places.

Natasha Chiang, Brand Manager at Bastion Group, blends strategy, creative direction, and digital design to elevate brand identities. With expertise across property, lifestyle, and retail, she ensures projects communicate with clarity, cohesion, and purpose, shaping cohesive identities that strengthen market presence.

Clayton, a Registered Tax Agent with a decade of experience, specializes in tax, compliance, and business advisory. Holding a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, he has led teams, managed over 200 entities, and provides practical support across financial matters to drive sustainable growth and informed decision-making.

Kelsea is a multi-faceted designer with experience across international lifestyle markets. She brings an all-encompassing approach to design by bringing together tactile, digital, historical and cultural inspirations to UX/UI design, branding, editorial and graphic design. At Bastion, Kelsea brings a wide-lens and strategic view to design having worked in sales, project management and retail coordination.
